What are the size and defenses for each of these three things? I want a private space to store stuff plus a small farm with defenses, what is that and how much will it run me?

If you’re wanting an actual private place to store your goods, meaning no one else can access them, someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that’s what the apartments at spawn are for. They’ll cost you a pretty penny, but there are a set number of chests in them. Prices range. Also, as far as I know, you cannot place blocks in the apartments.. only use what is there. Also, while I don’t condone this, one may theoretically be able to rent shop at spawn and illegally(assuming it isn’t allowed) in a chest shop. As far as the wilderness goes, just go to YouTube;)

This is all incorrect. Please read the Police board at /warp tutorial regarding the houses at spawn, and /rules 4. The summary is those houses are specifically for cop players as part of the alcohol brewing mechanic, and /rules 4 specifically states that the chests inside those houses can only be used for brewing materials.

The rules for the shops at spawn specifically forbid using shop chests for personal storage.

Currently the only unraidable storage available to players are the enderchests and the player vaults that come with donor ranks. at MVP+ the player vault is as large as a double chest.

_Debug, I'm sorry if you feel like I was being salty. What I stated was simply facts, and all that information is readily available at the tutorial when you first join the server.

Damien, I agree YouTube is the best place to go to get an idea of the kinds of defenses you can make for your bases, but to give you some advice it's not worth building those defenses unless you can claim the land. Typically you shouldn't claim all the land you can (like if you have 5 power you can claim 5 chunks if there's no one else in your faction) because if you die you lose power, meaning someone can over-claim your land. You should keep a buffer between your claimed land and your max power. For that purpose it would be better for you to build tall instead of wide to reduce the number of chunks you will have to claim.
You should always keep your most important items in your enderchest. Think like things you couldn't stand to lose in a raid.
