Casino loyalty points

I am sure that a large amount of the community will agree with me on this, there needs to be a way to tell how many loyalty points you have, and how many are needed until your next casino rank.
My explanation:
It would prevent the constant questioning about it, and it would make everyone's lives easier in order that they can buy specific amounts and set goals for a daily basis in order to achieve their wanted ranks.

They are not shown so make it a mystery how many you actually have and how long until you get to a higher tier in the casino. When you do end up reaching say Platinum or even Diamond tier you feel even more accomplishment because you don't actually know how many points you have. As well, players can also easily find their point total as long as they keep track of how many and what coins they buy when they go to the casino. Regardless I highly doubt Spalw would change his mind and make them visible as that goes against what he intended when he made the tier system.

The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking higher casino levels.

As for cost, we selected initial values based upon data from the beta testing of the map and other adjustments made to level rewards before launch. Among other things, we're looking at average per-player loyalty point earn rates on a daily basis, and we'll be making constant adjustments to ensure that players have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via gambling at The Lion.

Then what is the point in even telling us we are earning loyalty points?
In the case of what you have both stated, that would make loyalty points entirely useless. Their only purpose is currently to spam your chat when you are buying rollers.
If there is no way to know the total points, besides keeping track of hundreds/thousands of purchases in your head, telling us we are earning point, or even how many points we are earning is useless.
Loyalty points are irrelevant and have no use or purpose in the game. They should either be removed, or have a way to check the balance of.
A player is not going to feel any less accomplished for achieving diamond tier in the casino if they know how many points they have earned, or not. Its not the points that make them feel accomplished, its the money they used, and the grinding that gave them that feeling of accomplishment.

The reason you told specifically how many you get from any given purchase is to reinforce that by gambling higher amounts, you make your way to the next tier quicker.

Also, loyalty points are not any form of currency, they're just a way of tracking how much you have played.

Other than that, I completely disagree with everything else you have said.

I designed the entire system and am happy with how it is in it's current form. Last map, there were no rewards for players who liked to spend the majority of their money on gambling, now there are.
