1.8 PvP while on 1.9.4/1.11

Ok I've noticed the server has risen heavily in player count recently and the pvp is high due to this. Although in my opinion as well as multiple people I've talked to on the server most have agreed that 1.8 pvp is much better and more interesting as 1.9 takes no skill and most think its cancer. It would be great if you could implement 1.8 pvp while being on 1.9 as there are plugins for this. I think PvP will be "great again" on this server. Please consider this suggestion as for the people who agree comment below of what I might of missed out on or why you think its better. As for the people who disagree please comment as well.

I have no care either way, however the owners personally think that 1.9 pvp is the better choice from what I have seen.

Well I noticed alot of the owners stating that they like the 1.9 and etc. But 3/4 of the server wants 1.8 as I've seen it. Also another thing why do the owners opinions make the most diffrence? Isnt it about the players opinion or is this server diffrent and all about what the owners want I mean they dont even play the server so why does it matter.

I much prefer 1.9 over 1.8 pvp.

Also allow me to quote Dakota saying (regarding 1.8 PvP) "We will not, and do not plan to, change one of the main mechanics of the server to an old version."

Just because you and your friends are better at 1.8 PvP doesn't mean that it is the better PvP system.

After a quick survey, I have discovered that 4/4 players prefer 1.9 PvP.
