I think chest shop storage bans might be getting a bit out of hand. Now obviously if players have crate items, spawners, and elytra's in chests they should be banned for chest shop storage. However it seems that players are being banned for just storing items such as chests, signs, and cheap wooden stuff. It seems quite obvious that these players were not trying to hide items in chests, just using them so that they could make their player shop.

With that said I propose that a limit would be set on chest shop storage. Bans would still be given out for storing rare items and such. However if a admin just see's a cheap thing that was probably being used for making the chest shop, it should not be a ban, perhaps just destroy the items, of course if multiple offenses of this happen, eventually even these should be a ban. But I think there should be more leeway with the mass amounts of chest shop storage bans.

Sorry but you are wrong about the chest shop storage bans. We don't ban for shop stuff like chests, signs etc. We ban when there are other items stored. Iron blocks, pickaxes, blaze rods, etc. So until you know why someone is being banned for chest shop storage... I suggest you not make assumptions of why they are being banned for it.

I'm not going to continue a argument after this, however I would like to at least make the point that the amount of chest shop storage bans this map compared to the amount of chest shop storage bans at the start of last map are way higher, meaning that their is probably a difference somewhere, unless the sever has just gotten way more popular over the start of this map. Also I understand finding pickaxes in their might be considered storage, but blaze rods and iron blocks? it doesn't really seem like players would be legitimately trying to store something that worthless in a player shop just for extra storage, I believe player shop storage bans should probably be for if they are using it like a vault, not just for worthless objects like that, just destroy the objects.

Edit-I forgot that last map you were giving more leeway because of the fact that they just came out, so that point is invalid,

I won't argue further about this, The final decision is up to the staff team I get it. but I hope this is at least discussed in a meeting, because it seems like its too much for so little.

You're right there is nothing worth arguing over. We just have a job to do... Items some people consider "Worthless" is valuable to other players. And the start of new maps we always have more bans for chest shop storage because it is the smaller items like iron blocks and diamond blocks and pickaxes people consider valuable. Maybe a few months into the map the bans will become more lenient with certain items because they do become worthless. On the other hand there is a big sign that says not to store items in the chest shop rules. But thanks for the input.

First of all, a lot of your assumptions are wrong.

However, to keep things short.
The rules are very clear and very reasonable. Having some items in a chest whilst you build your shop is fine. Anything else is not okay. There is very limited amounts of prime space for player shops and we want to ensure those who are privileged enough to have one use them appropriately.

The amount of players this map is staggering, and we're working very hard to make sure it's fair for everyone.

Thanks for your concern.
