Why do you think you were banned?(what you think the admins thought) : I was banned for "doxing" someone after saying my grandma lives in arizona. At the time, there were 3 players on the kitpvp server including VhizyHD, his brother, and me. First of all, I didn't leak this information to anyone outside of us, and, second of all, saying what state someone lives in does not necessarily count as doxing. If he was willing to give out the information for free to someone he hardly knows, I HIGHLY doubt vhizyHD believes I actually doxed him. Many people on this server have given out the state they live in, so talking about what state he lives in with him and his brother alone is not leaking information and potentially threatening the safety of his home.
Second of all, no_newbz_allowed is the account of my brother and was not used as an alt in any way shape or form. In fact, I kicked him before the 1 month inactive period from my faction in order to avoid being accused of using alts for power. Many people such as dankasaur and IanPFink were on ts3 when he came on and played kitpvp, so there is plenty of solid evidence that no_newbz_allowed is not my alt.
Also, there is 0 evidence in chat logs that i "threatened to dox" player vhizyHD on kitpvp. I literally made 0 reference to ddosing whatsoever while i was investigating him for hacks yesterday, and never have made a reference to ddosing in his presence, as i hardly even have a history with this player. Additionally, I did not harass him for hacks. The entire time I was talking with him, he was replying back and talking with me as well in a vulgar manner. At no time did he say for me to please stop talking to him, and everything he did was out of his own will and consent.
Why what is your explanation of this reason? I believe giving out the state someone lives in to them and only them does not count as doxing, and it definetely should not count for a permanent ban against a player. In the logs, I clearly appear to be asking for his information as though I was planning to dox him, but this is obviously ironic in nature when one realizes that his info was on his skype account which he gave me. If i were planning to dox him, I would not ask for info which was already there. Like I said, this is clearly an ironic reference to that he is badly securing his privacy by putting info on skype. If anything, I was attempting to create constructive criticism of his lack of care for privacy online.
Why should we unban you? I believe I should retain the ddos threat ban, as I jokingly threatened to ddos a player and I understand that that can make people feel uncomfortable or threatened if they are either young or do not understand that I'm joking, but that the bans for using alts, doxing, ddosing vhizyhd, and harassing vhizyhd are completely unproven, and I believe vhizyHD should be punished for falsely accusing me of threatening to ddos him.
What measures will you take to prevent this from happening again? I will not make any conversation or reference to doxing / ddosing players in order to avoid these types of situations.
How can we trust you again? I really like this server and I will go out of my way to attempt to stay out of trouble on it in order to not be banned.
What else would you like to say to the admins who will review this case? I have Dankasaur and IanPFink as my witnesses that no_newbz_allowed is my older brother, and I can have him go on ts3 at the request of admins if needed. Also, please keep in mind that when i gave out that vhizy lived in arizona and when i "harassed" him, that the only people on the kitpvp server were vhizy, his brother, and me at the time and he never told me to stop harassing me or that he was feeling uncomfortable talking to me at all.
