Cannot login to server

This commonly happens when your internet connection is not strong enough to connect to the server. To try and fix the issue try and restart your router/modem and you may be able to join. If it still doesn't work then let us know and we'll be sure to get you connected.
Just in case make sure you are using this IP, play.mc-drugs.com
Internet connection appears to be ok I can connect to any other sever just not this one? I actually have better ping to this server than I do to some other servers that I play yet I can login to them easily but cannot log in to this one. This will be the first time signing on for me aswell, just recently got back into MC and my friend chose this server to play not exactly getting off to a great start lol
Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Did you log off in an automated farm or something that could lag the chunk that you logged out in?
They haven't logged in before as shown by what they said in their recent post "This will be the first time signing on for me as well."

Are you using any mods (optifine, liteloader, 5zig, forge etc.)?
