Shady Loans
The infamous Shady Loans will be back. This product is a lump sum of money paid out for a specific need. For example, a faction may be making a large base that is very expensive. In order to afford the items I would provide them with a large initial cash flow, in promise that they will pay me back in the future. Loans will only be given out on a case by case basis to prevent fraud. Interest rates and terms will be discussed. If you think you qualify for a Shady Loan, /mail send ShadyTies to learn more.

NEW: MCD PlayerShop Stock Market

Just like real life, you will be able to invest in and buy shares of Player Shops. When a shop owner wants to take their shop public, they contact me and I will issue shares for them, usually 100 in the form of books. Shop owners get to decide what they give their invest. They could give them shop space, signs, payment from sales ETC. The most valuable public shops will be listed here as well as who owns the shares, and the current price of the shares. I need the communities help with this though. Current shop owners please give me your input on how you'd like this.

COMING SOON: Drug Price Speculation and Selling Short
This is a new feature for more advanced players. Say for example that your faction makes a new large expensive farm. You think that since many people are making this drug that the price will go down, and you will lose money on the farm you just made. It would take too much time to take it down, so you want to keep it and take what you can. Here is where I come in. You can buy a contract from me that will allow you to sell a certain drug at its current price (according to /drugs). So if the price of the drug goes down, then you will be able to use your contract to sell me those drugs at that price and save yourself money. Here is how each contract will work. One contract will represent 1 Double Chest (54 stacks) of a drug. You will be able to sell this many drugs at an agreed upon price (to me) on or before an agreed upon date. Basically, you will make money on this contract if the price of the given drug goes down. You collect the difference in price and use it to offset the cost of running your farm.

Short selling is a simple concept. Ever heard of buy low sell high? Well this is sell high buy low. If you think the price of any item is going to go down, and you can find a buyer but don't have the item then I can help. I will sell the item for you, and when you find someone to buy it back for cheaper then I will let you collect the difference minus fees. This can seem complex, but if you are interested let me know and I can explain it further in discord or TS.

As a finance major, I feel obligated to point out a minor flaw in your speculation program.
Shorting a stock, for example, requires one to borrow X shares from someone else. You then sell the shares, with a promise to buy those shares back at a later date(hopefully at a lower price).
I’m very intrigued by your business model, but I can’t help but see through its holes...
Your explanation of “contracts” is very vague, and I’d be interested in more details on your post regarding them. When I make a contract with you, are you lending me cactus(for example) to sell, binding me to a contract to purchase cactus at a later date? It seems to me that your explanation involves no transaction of physical materials upfront;rather, it looks like it only legally binds the customer to sell you the materials at a later date... Maybe I’m misreading something

In terms of finance, I am selling ATM put options on drugs that are cash settled with each contract representing 1 doublechest of the underlying drug. If you want to talk about it more I can elaborate more on discord. As for shorting, I am an institution that is designed to provide liquidity for short sales EI, actually holding voter keys and points in case someone wants to take advantage of a market change
