Players selling empty shops

So for a couple of days, I've been looking for a shop to make some extra money.
There was a shop that would become unoccupied at 16:19 (or something around that). The player extended his rent, but the shop remains empty. When I contacted this player and asked him if he would sell anything in his shop, he told me I could buy it for 100k. The rent for the shop is 5000.

As the Player shop rules state: Shops must be selling at least 3 items at any time (and reasonable priced)

So, now for my question: Is this even allowed? The player also said that it's hard to buy a shop, that's why the price is so high.

I think it's annoying for people who want to buy a shop, but can't because others rent it, just to sell it for high prices. I would understand the high price if the players acctualy sold something. But this is just an empty shop

After a player rents a shop they have 24 hours to stock it with the minimum 3 items. If they don't, an admin will give them a warning to do so. If they still fail to stock it after that then the shop will be unrented. I have contacted the player you are referring to in your question.

As a side note though, I check the player shops frequently and I come across unrented shops all the time. Sometimes you just need to get lucky with the time. If you want to check if there are any shops available without actually going there you can check with /as info forrent. If any are unrented you can rent it with /as rent [shop]
