These are the only reasons a ban appeal would be accepted. Appeals for "apologies" or just admitting you did wrong will be instantly denied.

Why do you think you were banned?(what you think the admins thought) : I was warned incorrectly just because of a small misunderstanding from the staff and I. Let me begin with this. Many Minecraft servers have strict chat policies, while this server holds a looser one - pretty much anything respectful and within reason goes. Because of this policy, I asked Ace42986 if a certain word, one with a negative racial history, could be used in chat. To my surprise, he replied saying that it can be used as long as it is not used excessively or in a racially charged way. To me, that is a fair and generous policy, especially for that word. Nothing wrong with that, I thought. Some days later, I used that word a single time in chat, in a non racially charged way. Lurnn warned me for it. I think the misunderstanding could come from the different tolerances of different staff members. A high ranking staff member, Ace42986, may say it's fine while a low level mod, Lurnn, may say it is not okay to use in chat. The word I said needs to be used judiciously and in a cautious manor, but the important part is that I tried my best to follow what I thought were the rules.
What is your explanation of this reason?
Why should we unban you? I used a word in a way that I was told it can be used, but I was warned for it none the less.
