Building Competition [Craig's Progress]

Hello All,

Me and Hrby have decided to partake in a building competition against each other. The plot size is going to be 4x4 and we will have until the end of the map to finish. I believe is going to be creating his own thread for his build but this one will just be for mine.

I will be updating this thread / posting replies with my progress on the build/

My plan:
My main idea for this build was one that I saw in a painting the other day. It was a painting of an naval building near to a place where I am holidaying. The shape of the building inspired me to start this. Intentionally it was going to be much lower and wider than it was backwards with the dome in the middle. But I have changed my idea and I am going for a government / capital like building. Here is my progress so far:

I also plan to build a bunch of gardens, houses etc. around the large building.
All constructive criticism is welcomed as well as any ideas that I can add.
