Does anyone know the maximum size that a farm can be for it to still grow? As far as I know if you are not near the chunks in which your farm is then the crops will not grow since they arent loaded. I've been told that 96x96 is the absolute maximum, will I need to stand in the center for all corners to grow or what?

Been talking to people about it on the server and I believe 80x80 is maximum to grow if you are anywhere in the farm, 96x96 will only grow all over if you are in the center. Not entirely sure still havent tested

farms should not have a maximum area of which you can make them.

Well you can make them any size, but if i make a 100x100 farm and sit in the center watching my favorite Netflix movie until I can harvest the whole thing and I walk out to the edges, the edges wont have grown since you need to be within a certain amount of distance (by chunks I believe) of the crops for them to grow, since if you are not they won't be loaded.

You can make a 96x96 just with multiple layers, but I’d make it a bit smaller unless you know the exact center.
