Denied Xray In game ban

Hello, I am known as IAmCancer_ (Please excuse the horrible name, I will change it in four days)
My ban is taking place for three days.
Temp banned from Minecraft server
GotEdit dealt and banned me for this.
Not warned
Admitting to Xray in public chat
I think I was banned because Xray is not allowed on the server, and I did say that I had it, but not using it. I also logged off of the server to turn it off, to come back to a ban.
I did have Xray but I didn't plan to use it, and I never did. I am new to this server with this username. I went to go turn it off, as said. And I was banned when I got back on.
I will not use Xray on this server, I see no real purpose for it. And I really do enjoy this server and hate to be banned from it for three days.
This ban is a reminder to never use cheats on this server because I really do not like it.
This question is a bit confusing to write, but you can trust me. I do enjoy this server and its parts. And I do not wish to get banned.
I do appreciate GotEdit for doing his job, for I would have done the same thing. Thank you for paying attention to this thread.

I don't know what kind of servers you're playing on where xray is allowed. Just because you say you didn't use it means nothing to us. You admitted to using xray and actually had it installed. GotEdit can make the decision on this, but it will very likely be denied.

The first thing that you should do when you join any server, is to simply look at the rules e.g. /rules. Saying "lmao it won't let me turn it off." suggests that you were using x-ray and had it activated, even though you said that you weren't planning to use it. Having x-ray on the server, whether you are using it or not, isn't allowed.

Here is some proof of you saying "lmao it won't let me turn it off."

Hello, the first link shows me asking if it is aloud, which I do know that I should have done /rules. That was an honest mistake. But I was using technic launcher, using a modpack of vanilla with xray. So I had to exit out and go to normal minecraft.

Obviously x-ray is not allowed on around 99.9% of the servers, unless you join some anarchy server with no plugins etc. They'd be easy to identify, as everything would most likely look messy (opposite of this server). If you were planning on joining a server and playing some minecraft without getting banned, then you should've removed it before joining the server.
