This is just a question I have about the ban appeal "rules" first we see

That's an okay rule, however, I want to know why? Why make this a rule? I know there are players that have had time to think about what they've done (In the case of a perm ban) then they decide to apologize to the server and staff. But, because of your rule, they are denied. Now there are times where a person who has been perm-banned should not be unbanned, but if a player has been banned for a long time(Maybe a couple months) then apologizing should be the best course of action maybe get their ban to a month temp-ban.
Next, we have the players banned for "No intent to play" and there was a recent ban appeal from a user that was banned for No intent to play. This was the response(Mind you this was accepted)

So my question is, why have the rule of no apologies but then unban for an apologie?

No intent bans are for when players come online only to troll chat and cause problems. Unbanning the player is up to the discretion of the staff who handled the ban in the first place. No intent means they didn't even try to experience the server before the ban, so unbanning them gives them the chance to actually try it. Players who are banned under other circumstances are ones who have played the server and should already be aware of the rules, but broke them anyway.

Permanent bans don't persist through map resets (the exception being blacklisted players) so even perm players will be given another chance to try again and follow the rules. As it is though, majority of bans are first time 3-7 day bans, which players can wait out. Many players who come back after a first time ban discontinue the behaviour that got them banned in the first place. As I said before though, it's up to the discretion of the staff who handled the ban.
