FPS Drops when farming

Many times when I'm farming on low settings and in windowed mode I see huge fps drops... I go from 220 FPS to around 10-15 when breaking blocks. Anyone know any specific setting that might be causing this?

Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics

Beetroot does the size of the farm matter cause ours is huge?

The amount of drugs you have on the ground would definitely have an effect on your performance, so a larger farm makes it more likely that you'll have more drugs floating on the ground.
