So its come to my attention that whilest im raiding its really dark if i cant place a torch so i think as a donator we should be allowed to use /NV to allow us to see.

You can put on a mininghelmet or make night vision potions ....

Or, the more unconventional way, is to go into your "Options" and set your gamma to 1000. I've been told by many staff members that it is allowed, but the only downside is that you can't experience MC fully (e.g the darkness makes buildings with light sources prettier), and can be annoying when you can see perfectly, while unknowingly your friends cannot. It can easily be changed again, however.
