Ban appeals are for when we have made a mistake, or there has been a significant change in the circumstances.
These are the only reasons a ban appeal would be accepted. Appeals for "apologies" or just admitting you did wrong will be instantly denied.

Reason for ban on record : Withholding information from staff

Why do you think you were banned?(what you think the admins thought) : For saying in chat that I knew the name of Noodle's alt, but when asked about it did not say what is was.

What is your explanation of this reason?

Why should we unban you? Withholding information from staff is something that is not written in the rules, so the only one it could fall under is rule 15. I did not know, or could have possibly known it was against the rules when I posted in chat. Because of this, I should have been given a warning, or even a temporary ban if withholding information is an egregious offense. A permanent ban is too extreme for withholding information, an unwritten rule, and is really an overreaction.

What measures will you take to prevent this from happening again?

How can we trust you again?

What else would you like to say to the admins who will review this case?

You claimed you knew a banned player was on the server on a alt and refused to tell staff who it was. Also saying you would sell the info to the mod who would pay you the most.

Again, this is not written in the rules so I did not, or possibly could have known this was against the rules. I did not know refusing to tell was against the rules or selling the information to staff was against the rules because it is not written. Sure, the rules say "If you have questions, ask" but at a certain point there are so many unwritten rules that you dont think to ask about everything.

Rule 3: use common sense.
Common sense would be tell staff if you know a banned player is on the server.
Common sense would be not to say I'll sell the info to the highest paying mod
Common sense seems to be somthing you are lacking.

While rule 3 does exist, can I please just have one honest answer. Do you at least understand how I feel and why am discontent with the reasons given for a permanent ban? I'm not trying to persuade at this point, just wondering.

You plain as day were withholding information from us about a player that is banned and wanted to be paid to get he info. That is why you are banned. I will be locking this thread there is nothing els that needs to be said.
