Currently, the MCMMO system allows the effect of serrated strikes. Now, in 1.7 pvp, this feature works well because 1.7 pvp has working hit detection such that a serrated strike can trigger on a player and they can be immediately hit afterwards. The hit detection system has unfortunately broken down for 1.9. Because of this, if a serrated strike ticks on someone during pvp, they get a small moment of 0 kb, and they also can't hit anyone for a brief period after the tick. This doesn't really imbalance pvp on MCD, but it makes the pvp system a lot more annoying than fun. Serrated strikes have an extremely minimal impact on how much damage is actually taken by players, and I think pvp would be overall be
A : More accommodating to new players and
B : More fun if we were to disable serrated strikes.
Thank you
